Steyn Skyler x XPLCT Studios
A piece special made for the opening of XPLCT Studio's first store (Kalverstraat 160 Amsterdam). Artist Steyn Skyler and Garezi Septara have joined forces for this project.
The artists used a form of art, mainly painting, influenced by spiritualism and urban style. Spiritualism influenced art, having an influence on artistic consciousness, with spiritual art having a huge impact on what became modernism and therefore art today. The classic floating divine women in the clouds painted by Steyn Skyler represent this aspect. After Skyler was done with his classic painting part it was time for Garezi Septara to create some chaos using a completely different method in urban style. Urban art is one of the most hybrid forms of artistic expression in our modern world because its purpose is to draw upon what the viewers know and manipulate the physicality of the subject to make their point. The graffiti drawings created by Garezi Septara represent this form of art.
